with the rest of Kashmir closed to tourism it gains popularity

for a vacation be it hiking, biking or maybe just visiting
the monasteries that dot the length and breadth of Ladakh.
What we also highly recommend to ALL is a visit to the
high-altitude brackish water lakes of Pangong-Tso and
Tso Moriri and a couple of days across the world's highest
motorable pass Khardungla to Nubra Valley. The Nubra Valley
is steeped in stories at once fantastic and gory. Once
the valley provided the link between India and Afghanistan
a part of the erstwhile 'Silk Route' and many a traveller
perished, so punishing is the terrain.

Day 01:
Arrival at Srinagar airport and transfer you to Deluxe Houseboat at Dal Lake, Afternoon rest & relax.
 Day
02:
Full day tour of Mughal gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring) and Shalimar garden (Abode of love), old city visiting important places like Jamia Mosque & Hariparbat Fort, and overnight stay at Houseboat.
Day 03: Srinagar – Kargil (202 Kms 08 Hrs)
Early morning depart for Kargil driving over Zojila pass, 3600 Mts. Upon arrival, check into a Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04: Kargil – Leh
Early Morning depart for Leh driving over Namkila Pass 3600 Mts and Fotila Pass 4000 Mts. Enroute visit Mulbek Chamba (Future Buddha Statue) and Lamayuru Monastery, Alchi, Likir and Phyang Monastery, stay in Hotel for overnight.
Day 05: Leh Morning Sightseeing
Morning sightseeing of Shey Monastery and SOS Children Village, afternoon depart for sightseeing tour of Shanti Stupa and Shankar Monastery & Leh Palace return to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Leh
Morning walk up to Leh Palace, which is now almost in ruins, but one gets a beautiful view of the Indus Valley and Leh town from here, after visiting one is free to walk around in the Leh market on, their own rest of the day at leisure, overnight in Hotel.
Day 07: Leh Sightseeing
For full day sight seeing of Thiksey, Hemis, Chemre and Tok-Tak Monasteries, return in the evening to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08: Leh-Depart
After breakfast leave for airport to onwards your destination.
