Day 01: [Jodhpur]
Arrive Jodhpur, a blue city of Rajasthan and gateway to the
great Indian desert. You will be met upon arrival and transferred
t o your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure for individual
activities, overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: [[Jodhpur]
This morning you will proceed for a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur,
visit the Majestic Mehrangarh Fort, sprawled across a 125
meter high hill and is the most impressive and formidable
fort in the fort-studded Rajasthan, continue to Jaswant Thada
a cluster of Royal cenotaphs built in 1899, lastly visit the
Umaid Bhavan Palace and museum. Rest of the day is at leisure
for shopping and individual activities, Overnight at the hotel
.
Day 03: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
(285 kms/5-6 hrs)
Drive to Golden city of Jaisalmer. Arrive and proceed to your
hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore this golden
city on your own.
Day 04:Jaisalmer
Morning visit to the Jaisalmer fort, only fort in India which
has a population of thousand people living within its walls,
later visit to the countless havelis spread across Jaisalmer
which are reputed as the city's real showpieces. Late evening
you will visit the Sand Dunes to witness a spectacular sunset
over the sand dunes, overnight at the hotel .
Day 05: Jaisalmer - Manvaar
(185 kms/3-4 hrs)
Today you will proceed to Manvaar, an ancient town in the
heart of the Thar Desert and is 4kms away from the beautiful
sand dunes between Jaisalmer and Jodhpur. Arrive and proceed
to your beautiful desert resort/camp. Rest of the day is at
leisure OR you may take an optional camel ride on the sand
dunes, overnight at the hotel.
DAY 06 - Manvaar - Jodhpur
(100 kms/2 hrs)
Today you will be transferred to Jodhpur, arrive and proceed
to airport/railway station for your onward journey .
