Day 01: Delhi - Pushkar
Arrive Pushkar, After breakfast visit Pushkar town of temples
visit the only Bramha temple; take a walk through the old
town of Pushkar and the famous Ghats. O/N at Pushkar Resort.
Day 02: PUSHKAR TO NIMAJ. DIST. 78 KM APROX.
In the morning take a Jeep drive leaving the holy town to
its glory we move towards south-west of Pushkar. Crossing
small villages belonging to Gujjar tribe. After two-three
hours drive we reach the majestic fort of Ras. Lunch at Ras
fort. Visit the Gold room of the palace. Once again we start
towards our destination Nimaj Chattar Sagar (beautiful tents
pitched on lake) O/N at Chattar Sagar Nimaj.
Day 03: LNIMAJ TO JOJAWAR. DIST. 95
KM APROX
After breakfast leave Nimaj taking the sandy tracks and crossing
the small hamlets this area is rich in agriculture. Moving
parallel to the railway tracks and crossing the important
town of Sojat Rd. we reach the rugged fort of Auwa who still
stood proud and saw many battles in time including the Indian
mutiny of 1857. Lunch at Auwa. Visit old temples in fort.
Once again start crossing the plain scrub land and dry river
beds and reach Jojawar. O/N Rawala Jojawar.
Day 04: JOJAWAR TO KUMBHALGARH. DIST. 105
KM APROX.
Leave Jojawar after breakfast, towards south parallel to the
world famous Aravallies. Crossing the small shepherd settlement
reach Ghanerao the 17th century castle. Lunch at Ghanerao.
After lunch once again start towards the unconquered fort
of Kumbhalgarh. Reach Aodhi. Visit the fort O/N at Aodhi.
Day 05: KUMBHALGARH TO KORTA. DIST.
110 KM APROX.
At dawn we finish our breakfast watching the rising
Sun, we once more look forward to the adventurous journey
crossing the wild life sanctuary which houses leopards, sloth
bears, hyenas, wild boars etc.. we come down from a height
of 3000 ft. towards the plains of Godwar region. Stop over
at exotic dam site to see crocodiles if lucky. Crossing some
Grasiya hamlets we reach Ranakpur. Visit the famous Jain temple
with 1444 pillars all differently carved. Lunch at Ranakpur.
After lunch leave for Korta visiting the famous Jawai dam
enroot. O/N Korta escape.
Day 06: KORTA TO BHADRAJUN. DIST. 80
KM APROX.
At the crack of dawn as we leave picturesque Korta crossing
the rough terrain and sandy tracks reach Bhenswara. Lunch
at Bhenswara. After lunch leave towards Bhadrajun according
to the 5000 year old Hindu epic Mahabharata it
is here that Pandav prince Arjun got married to Lord Krishnas
sister Subhadra thus giving the village its name Bhadrajun.
The pink castle of Bhadrajun dates back to the 16th century.
O/N at Bhadrajun pink castle.
Day 07: BHADRAJUN TO JODHPUR. DIST.
90 KM APROX.
Leaving behind the grand castle of Bhadrajun we once more
move towards crossing the sultry barren lands and colorful
people belonging to the deferent communities towards the capital
town of Marwar Jodhpur. Lunch at Rohetgarh. After spending
some time at Rohet we move towards Jodhpur crossing the Bishnoi
villages (lives with 29 norms). Reach Jodhpur O/N at Jodhpur.
Day 08: JODHPUR TO Onward Destination
After breakfast, depart for onward Destination Journey.
