Mysore/Kabini:From Mysore, a coach ride through the breathtaking wilderness will take you to Kabini. Now a part of the Rajiv Gandhi National Park, Kabini was once a hunting retreat of the Mysore Maharajas. The excitement here starts with a safari into the heart of the jungle, where you are sure to spot wild animals in their natural habitat.

Day 3 - Mysore (Wednesday) |
- 0630 hrs : Boat ride for bird safari on Kabini river
- 0800 hrs : Breakfast at the jungle lodges resort

- 1130 hrs : Back on board The Golden Chariot
- 1300 hrs : Lunch on board
- 1530 hrs : Srirangapatnam sightseeing – Dariya Daulat, Tipu mausoleum and drive through the fort

Mysore: Mysore, the erstwhile capital of the Wodeyar Maharajas, is home to a few opulent palaces and is a centre of sandalwood-carving, silk and incense production. A short coach trip from Mysore will take you to the capital of South India’s very own tiger, Tipu Sultan, at Srirangapatna. While here, visit his summer palace and Gumbaz. And revisit history as it was two centuries ago. |
Day 4 - Hassan (Thursday) |
- 0500 hrs : Depart from Mysore to Hassan
- 0730 hrs : Breakfast on board
- 0900 hrs : Depart for sightseeing to Shravanabelagola
- (Please note that you would have to climb close to 700 steps to experience the architectural marvel. Only those who can undertake this are advised to do so. Guests unwilling to climb can stay back on board The Golden Chariot)
- 1300 hrs : Back on board The Golden Chariot followed by lunch
- 1445 hrs : Depart for Belur and Halebidu to visit the magnificent temple complexes

Hassan:From Hassan, set deep in the Karnatakan countryside, the journey to Asia’s tallest monolith at Shravanabelagola is not long. Return to The Golden Chariot for your sumptuous lunch spread, for the glory of 10th century Hoysala architecture awaits you at Belur and Halebeedu in the afternoon. Take a trip around the temple courtyards of this World Heritage Site to appreciate the intricate workmanship of the sculptures, friezes and ornate pillars. |
Day 5 - Hospet/Hampi (Friday) |
The splendours of the erstwhile capital of the Vijayanagara empire await you at Hampi, just 13kms away from Hospet. Magnificent temples and courtyards, peppered in between the ruins of what might have been resplendent palaces a few centuries ago, vie for your attention here. This, together with the boulder strewn sandscape and the Tungabhadra river gives Hampi a charm that is almost ethereal. |

- 0830 hrs : Depart for sightseeing to Hampi- World Heritage site: Hemakuta Hill, Virupaksha temple, Queens Bath, Elephant stables, Royal enclosure, Hazara Rama Temple

- 1530 hrs : Visit to the Vijaya Vittala temple complex and the marvel stone chariot
- 1700 hrs : Sit out by the banks of the Tungabhadra River for sunset view

- 1320 hrs: Return to The Golden Chariot

Badami: Wake up in the cradle of Hindu architecture at the ancient capital city of the Chalukya empire. A flight of steps will take you to the four ancient rock-cut caves, each replete with carved pillars, bracket figures and sculptures. Among them is the 18 armed Nataraja, striking 81 dance poses. A short distance away is Pattadakal, home to perhaps the earliest examples of Dravidian and Nagara architecture in the whole of India.

Reservation Policy:
In case of FITs:
- 20% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
- Remaining 80% of ticket value 30 days prior to departure..
In case of Group:
- 50% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
- Remaining 50% of ticket value 45 days prior to departure.
Cancellation Policy:
In case of FITs:
- 5% of the ticket value if cancellation is made until 60 days prior to departure.
• 20% of the ticket value if cancellation is made between 30-59 days prior to departure.
• 50% of the ticket value if cancellation is made between 15-29 days prior to departure.
• 100% of the ticket value if the cancellation is made 14 days prior to departure.
In case of Group:
- 10% of the ticket value if cancellation is made until 60 days prior to departure.
• 25% of the ticket value if cancellation is made between 30-59 days prior to departure.
• 75% of the ticket value if cancellation is made between 15-29 days prior to departure.
• 100% of the ticket value if the cancellation is made 14 days prior to departure.
No show/ En route termination of tour/amendment:
- No Show - In case of No Show / Non-arrival of the guest, no refund or adjustment in future travel will be possible. The whole amount shall be treated as forfeited. • En route termination of tour - In case of termination of tour by the guest, for any reasons, no refund or adjustment for future travel will be possible. The amount for unused portion of the tour shall be treated as forfeited.
• Amendment - Is only possible under the circumstances like Natural Disaster / Natural Calamity or Serious Health Problem's (this needs to be supported by doctor's certificate) and is subject to availability. No refunds are possible and every case will be decided on merits on a case to case basis.
